Right now I have an ATX R/C pretty basic, few updates, but I like the look of the Rally, and MT, which is best?

With the Fun Factor platform you can switch between the 3 fairly easily. All 3 of them use the same chassis and drivetrain all you have to do is switch clutch bells, tires, body's, suspension arms and axles. It sounds like quite a list but it really is fairly easy to do.

The MT2 - Looks cool, great offroad but not as quick as....
The Rally- Bit quicker than the MT2 but isn't as capable on heavy offroad stuff.

ive run all 3 setups on my chassis and as 5150 said...
the atx is in between the rally and mt for performance - as quick as the rally, but a bit better offroad than the rally. personally i like the atx setup best, but my bashing spot suits the mt better.
an atx with 1/8 buggy wheels and an os 18 would take some beating, its just the cen 14mm hexes and 14-17mm adapters that are very hard to find... unless anyone knows of a source for them now seeing as renegade doesnt stock the 14mm hexes anymore?

Adapters are probably the easiest thing to find that I have searched for.
Try http://maximizerproducts.com/ for the adapters. I am pretty sure the nitro Stampede ones will work, the Wild Dagger ones might also. I know that the hexes for the electric Stampede and the CEN are the same.

poor judgement,
When you talk about the "os 18" & "14mm hexes and 14-17mm adapters" what are you refering to?

Using an OS .18 cvrx engine in the buggy.
In order to use 1/8 scale buggy wheels (which are 17mm hexes) on the ATX you will need to get adapters to adapt the stock CEN 12mm hexes to 17mm or switch the CEN to 14mm hexes and then get 14mm to 17mm adapters. GS and Imex makes 14mm to 17mm adapters but to the best of my knowledge nobody makes 12mm to 17mm adapters.
