Hi MM,
Noticed this startted as a suspension based thread and I just got some new shock oil. Could one of you be kind enough to run through the re-oil process with me as I havn't had to do this yet. Also recvd my replacement pull-start and some new dog bones. othe worns are wearing out from breaking you-know-whats!!)
Many thanks, thios is an AWESOME site and resource for us getting started with hi-end stuff.
Cheers
Chris

I would only say that it is essential to bleed the shocks before putting the cap back on. Pump the shock shaft up and down to remove all the bubbles from the body. I also screw the cap on with the shaft fully compressed into the body. When it is all tightened up, the shaft should be pushed back down slowly by the oil. This is how I do mine and I have had great luck using this method so far.

Thanks for that, Yes I learnt a lot about shocks last night. I'm trying to upload some pics for ya's but there is some dumb error message on upload(??)
I got one in my profile with my dancer wife doing her "presenter" pose with our MT2 complete with a 20 year old Kyoshu Stinger MKII body upgrade. Check it out, it's hilarious.
Regards

Make sure the pic isn't to large re-size it to 640-480 if need be.
Sometimes you might have to edit your post to upload I think that is what Poor Judgement has to do.
