Hitec HS-5955TG Servo Installed on Genesis
I just finished the install of this servo. Steering response is much faster than stock. Here are the specs of the servo: 24 Kg.cm (333 oz.in), 0.15 sec/60 all at 6.0 V.
I'll run the truck tomorrow and see if it helped the torque steer or the truck running wide in the corners.
I do have a question for all the people that have installed higher torque servos. What did you set the servo saver to? Right now I have mine set to 8.0 mm from the plate. Any advice?
Thanks,
Joe

RE: Hitec HS-5955TG Servo Installed on Genesis
Yes, it was a straight bolt in. Took about 15 minutes tops. I paid $115 for it at my LHS. So far it's working ok. I have my servo saver set at 8.0 mm so we'll see how that works. I took it out in back yard and ran it around a bit. I didn't notice any problems. I didn't do any on road testing (where I see my torque steer the most) and I also made some suspension changes that help a lot with the pushing thru corners. So it's hard to say if the pushing was helped by the servo more or the suspension changes.
