Is it worth getting the alum shocks from CEN (front, and back), or going with something else?

If something else is my best option what are they? Part numbers would help since in I am a newbie weetawd

Looked around i see some say buggy shocks, or T-maxx shocks, but not really sure what i am looking for to make sure it fits the MT2.

I just got the truck, but it seems to me the plastic shocks would be a weak point, I am trying to get a list of things together to make this thing more durable. So far I have reinforced the Dif cups, extra bearings are on the way. As soon as I decide which roll cage to go with ill purchase that. I also have plans for Alum A-arms, better servos, alum brake block. . . . .anything else please add to this.

Personally, My stock shocks lasted about a year and a half before the fronts started leaking. I Tried my old Tmaxx shocks, but they are a bit long so i got the CEN threaded shocks which are nice. The best part is that you can just spin the spring holder to stiffen up the front or back instead of using spacers. ARO products (AKA DR. Honda) Makes some nice strong shock towers for the mt2 and I think they will fit slightly longer shocks but you would have to ask someone else. The metal brake seat and disc are nice additions. THe brake seat stiffens the back right up. The only roll bar i have seen is the New Era one, but it is pretty easy and cheap to make your own if you have tools. With the alum A arms all that happens is you brake your diff housing instead of your A arms. Trust me lol. The Stock A arms are cheap and they have some flex so they dont break that often. One of my fav mods i did to my MT2 is Azzman's fuel tank mod where you replace the stock tank with a 125 cc ofna tank. Do a search in this forum for fuel tanks and you will find it. the 75 cc tank is kinda small.
Honestly with my metal brake seat, titanium tie rods, roll bar etc. I hardly brake anything on my mt2 except the odd A arm if i run into something and I've broke some plastic steering parts in very cold temps (-10 F and below).
Not sure how long you've had the truck but it is quite durable and fast for the price. And easy to work on. You will enjoy it.
