Default Gen/Nem compatability?

Do you guys know if the parts on the Nemesis are compatible with the Genesis? I am interested in the Aluminum Center transmission upgrade GS008. Are the brakes on a Nemesis are alot better than the Gen? If the parts are compatible I am interested in upgrading some of my Gen parts. I would like to hear from anyone who has both of these trucks, What differences if any have you noticed between the two trucks? ie..braking, stearing, trans...Thanks

I put the MTM brakes on my Genesis. Check out this link for compatibility, pictures, before/after impressions, etc.:

GS008 is a flywheel. I think you may be talking about the GS007 diff housing. On the nemesis that comes in aluminum where on the genesis it is plastic, otherwise, as I understand it, the internals of the differential are identical. Here is a link to an eBay auction that has a pic:

Is that what you mean?

Mine are plastic, I think the LE just went to the six gear design. The nemesis went six gear with aluminum housing......

The MTM brakes are great from the nemesis, the kit is not 100% complete as stated in the other thread the linkage on the genesis is not the same, it is short and there is only one linkage instead of two, ebay usually has the nemesis one for under 10 bucks. Just make sure you get the right one as sellers on ebay often list genesis parts as nemesis parts.

huh because I founf this on cen's site,

"The GENESIS now comes with a super strong Aluminum differential case that houses the ultra strong 6-gear differential. This is by far the strongest differential system ever developed in the industry. "

Sorry there was confusion, the diff itself is aluminum, the diff housing is plastic on the LE, the nemesis has aluminum housings. I believe the confusion is cen's wording with the "diff case" as aluminum, meaning the case that holds the six gears. The diff housing, houses the entire diff assembly.

the gss08 is the upgraded tranny. two speed no reverse so you would have tyo add it if you wanted. lighter though.
