Hi everyone,
I'm going to order myself a Nemesis tomorrow, and since my LHS doesn't currently stock Cen parts, what should I look into ordering for my field box? I'd like to get the items that break the most often and have a few spares. So far, what I've read about is:
-suspension arms (I read they are the same for the upper and lowers, are they the same in all four corners as well?)
-stub shafts
-glow plugs (anyone recommend what to use with the .46?)
Also, this is what I can think of for non-Cen related necessities:
-hump pack
-Fuel (can I use Top Fuel 20%? I'd like to keep it standard across all my vehicles if possible)
Also, what hop ups would you guys consider getting first? I've heard there is a 3 speed and reverse kit available, anything else I should think of getting as well?
Thank so much everyone, hope you guys have room for another R/Cer to the Cen family!

I would consider the genesis le for the reverse/ 3rd speed. Same truck different springs. I bought the nemesis.( only because I got a great deal) Definitely needs a bigger steering servo (300oz) Ive only had stub axle problems (3). What do you plan to do with the truck. Race/yard bash

the only thing i would get are the axle stubs. just keep a set on hand untill they make a upgraded version. also they have a piece of tape on the tranny case where the reverse shifter is,just put a bead of silicone on the tape so it wont come off. when i got the genny le it came with a glow igniter a glow plug wrench a glow plug , well it came with just about everything except batt and fuel. oh, you will also need after run oil. i would put that in as soon as you get it . it will not only help in the rust dept but if your not going to run it for a while(like saturday the 11 was the only nice 60 degree day i had and my truck was sitting for a while)it will get rid of any condensation while being on the delivery truck for a week.also i never had a problem starting any of my trucks when i do this,it keeps the piston lubed and you will be able to pull the starter easier. also if you go with the rechargable batt pack like i did for breakin you will need 2, one pack for 2 tanks. i did 3 and in the middle of the 3rd the servos were jittery and dont forget a throttle return spring.

A little bit of everything, mostly bash and casual race. Yeah, the Genesis might be the way to go, I'll have to look at the prices. Does the Genesis also come with the MX3 radio?

Thanks jombo. I've got one hump pack in my Nitro sport that I can use, and I'll get another so I can be charging at the track with the other. Those axle stubs are expensive, hope they come out with new upgraded ones soon. They are universal on all four corners? Also, are the A arms the same on all the corners as well? Thanks!

yes, the genisis le is the same as the nemisis except nem dosent have a 3 speed and reverse and 5 shocks.same radios etcthe only thing the nem has that the gen dosent is the metal diff gear housing, not the actual part that holds the spider gears but the part that covers the outdrive. besides that their identical, oh i forgot the tires genny got the shiny rims lol.

Yes, all the arms are the same at all four corners and the difference in the Nemesis are steel Driveshafts F/R, alum. diffs F/C/R, 8 shocks not 10, wheels+Tires, no reverse, no third gear, blue anodizing instead of red.

i must have forgotten the most important part beside having fun are the glow plugs. i just checked mine and any long plug will work.like the os8 mc59 fox med hot long etc. also (i know i will get flack for admitting to this ) i only use 10% nitro in all my trucks and they run fine. the trax believe it or not was the worst and i had a hard time with odonnell (and people swear by odonnell) the best (and i still use ) is the trinity race with 12% oil. i havent touched a needle on my savage or any other since i started using it.but i also dont run them in winter when you need to richen them up.and dont be affraid to touch the carb needles on breakin, my lsn was so rich i could'nt get it started.any way thats what works for me , and dont forget take everything said on the internet with a grain of salt, because untill you try it you wont believe it.
