My engine on my genesis is running at 312 degrees F, and 155 degrees c, is that to hot or to cold? I am still tuning, and having been wot for a few seconds. Hope I am in the good. If not how do I get it back to standard, as in a turn is that a 360 degree turn? Very clueless genny owner

That is way to hot. Your LSN should be flush or 1/2 a turn in from flush. Your HSN should be 3,5-4 turns out. Start with those setting and tune from them. Your temp shoul be around 220-250 F and 100-130 Celsius .

The engine is running in the RED Zone! That is way to hot. The recommended engine temp is 250-260 degrees Fahrenheit. These are also the default settings:
NX76
Default-
Top End: 3 1/2 turns out.
Bottom End: 1 1/2 turns in from flush
After break in:
Top End: 3 turns out
Bottom End: Flush
Hope this gets you back on track.

Oh blimey I cant believe it, ok well I have sorted the lsn, 1 and a half turn in from flush, that is no problem. But the hsn, ou say 3 and a half turns out, do you mean turn the screw in until it cannot move anymore, then do 3 complete turns out from there??

Yes, gently turn HSN (high speed needle), the one where the fuel line goes in, clockwise until it bottoms. Gently. Don't screw it down tight, but rather until it bottoms with slight pressure applied. Then go out 3 1/2 turns in a counterclock wise direction. 3 1/2 full turns. Picture the top of the needle as a clock face, and go around the whole clock 3 times, then 1/2 (6 hours). Hope this helps. When making adjustments after this, only move the needle about 1 hour at a time, or approximately 1/12 of a turn.

I am lucky I have not blown my engine up!!
Peps, can anyone give me a correct or as close setting for 30% nitro, I am using Tornado.
I want to be able to get some serious wheelies, but be able to hit that magic 50mph mark also.
Your advice is very much appreciated, and I love this truck, by far the best choice if you ask me.

Also my third gear seems to be shifting pretty much straight after then 2nd gear, so you cannot notice it, I suppose it sounds like there is one gear when driving.

I run tornado 25% and I have my HSN 3 1/4 out and my LSN 1/2 in from flush. If i lock my center diff i will wheelie on command. But you have to wait until the engine is warm, and that will take awhile because of the engine size.

So 3 & 1/4 turns out for the hsn, and 1/4 in for the lsn but that is for 25%, anyone running 30% or should I start a new thread for 30% administrator?
So locking the diff, does that just mean killing the torque to the front wheels effectively having a rear wheel drive Genny? If so that must be hell to control hahah. Again how do you do things like this? And whose knows about adjusting the gear changes as the thing changes to early. As the wheels are off, can I test the spring adjustment for the gear change, or is that not advisable?
