I just bought the Alum. Shocks for my ATX and I am having a hell of a time getting the lower shock eyelet on the shaft. When trying to thread the eyelet onto the shaft the shaft just turns and cannot get the damn thing on. I have tried needle nose plyers but the shaft still turns and cannot get the eyelet on for anything. Just wondering how you guys got the damn thing on. here is a picture in case you are not sure what I am talking about

just run a screw into the eyelet to tap the threads first - hold it in ur pliers and screw it in, then try it again on the shock shaft, that should do it mate.

ita takes a bit of force. I used some regular pliars and squeezed onto the shock shaft as hard as possible so that it couldn't spin. Vice grips would be even better. Then to spin the eyelet, just put a screwdriver throuch the hold and use it for leverage. Once you have it threaded the first time they will go on and off a lot easier.
