Ok I currently own a Fun Factor and I am looking to but either the GENESIS or NEMESIS now. In your opinions which would you go with. I am not looking to race just some heavy bashing. Also is the GENESIS is as strong as they claim it too be. I realize I will still have to replace parts but I am hoping that I won't have to replace them near as much as I do with my Fun Factor. I am always ordering parts for my Fun Factor every week.

Sounds like you're doing some heavy bashing. I don't order many parts for my Genesis but I'm not jumping off buildings either. Personally I would go with the Nemesis if I were pick from the two now. The Genesis is a great truck and I've had it for a year now, but I did spend the money to upgrade the transmission to the Nemesis just because the braking system on the Genesis sucked. Now with the Nemesis brakes I had to make adjustments to keep it from flipping itself over. So I along with the transmission, I had to buy dogbones, differentials for the front and rear, and bulkheads.

I'd suggest the Nemesis, others might think different.

To be completing honest I only play with my fun Factor on the football field with a Razor skateboard jump about 10 feet of air and parts breaking left and right. The parts are cheap but it does get a little annoying after a while when your hobby shop does not carry Cen parts so I have to wait 3 days to get them. That is why I am looking toward the GENESIS or NEMESIS.

My local store don't stop CEN parts either. I buy most of my parts online, so when something gets busted, I usually order two replacements, that way I keep it in stock like the store would. Most people suggested getting what the local store supports, but I still got my Genesis and I'm happy with it.

we got both nemisis and genesis running with us.. for all out bashing go genesis with out a doubt, the reverse alone is worth its weight in gold not too mention its tough as nails. and yeah, how tough they are is an understatement

then nemisis is great but seems to be a little fragile when complete bashing. but if your not in a hurry the new genesis gst is coming out late summer and will be the best of both worlds.

thanks alot, its slick and only a block from my place.. that one did bend the grab handle and crack up the body pretty good but she still ran.. i dont have any pics of the air we were grabbin but down at the local gravel pit we found a 45 footer.. jump #6 i broke my shock tower and jump 7 a buddy of mine smashed his motor to oblivion.. heres a couple pics of the hell fire at 1/4 way up the hill we were coming off the top on.

That's the second engine I have seen on here do that, granted from hardcore abuse. Seems like it needs some sort of roll bar head protection for extreme abuse, I got lucky and only smashed my head and broke several fins off.......

sorry to veer of topic but they both have their great points. but for bashing i choose genesis.. the brakes are not as good as the nemesis and the steering does need to be upgraded for better steering but other then that cen has two great products here and you'll be happy with either one. but reverse is a real good idea when you get stuck in the middle of a narly hill climb

yeah the roll bar would be a great idea.. theres enough flex in the rear shock tower that it bends right into the manifold on a hard butt only landing, and off high enough it makes its own room, unfortunaltly its where the engine is sitting

Those are some sick ***** photos, I am still thinking about it but I think I might wait for the GST it is not that far away. Have came up with a price for the GST yet
