well, are you running the stock tires? THey are very heavy. Getting some Proline masher 2000's or some other lighter 2.2 rubbers will help.
What pinion gears are you running? Stock ones or steel ones?

A better clutch helps too. You can get a savage 3 shoe clutch and flywheel on ebay for a couple bucks. Then Pull one of hte pins out of the savage flywheel and arange the pins on the Cen flywheel in a triangle, then you can install the 3 clutch shoes and springs for a better grab.
then, you can get some nova racing alum shoes (or similar) and put them there instead of the soft shoes. The nova ones have little weights that screw in to adjust the clutch.

every thing is stock except engine so thats probably why.....ok thx....that helps a lot...i thought it might be the tires but i wasn't sure about the clutch. and just off of the top of your head about how much will all of that cost.

Proline mashers (or similar) 14.99/2
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUM93

savage clutch and flywheel (you just need one pin and teh springs) 12.49 "buy it now" + 2.99 shipping. But you may find a better deal on ebay than that.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/NEW-HPI-Savage-21...QQcmdZViewItem

Then, If you want an alum clutch. You can get a nova set for 20.99 + 6.99 shipping

http://cgi.ebay.ca/HPI-Savage-X-Alum...QQcmdZViewItem

or

some mugen shoes for 17.92 + 1.75 shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Mugen-Aluminum-3-...QQcmdZViewItem

So if you were to go with the masher 2000s, and mugens, it would cost you 65.13.

Oh and you may want a second set of rims too so you can switch between these and the stock tires.
11.49 (per pair I think) http://www.customrccars.com/product_...at=22&custom=0

I am assuming you have the 11/14 (black and blue) pinions on there already. they are as low as you can go wtih CEN parts, unless you find something else that fits.

I just picked the first of each thing I found. you can probabaly do it cheaper if you scour ebay for a few days and compare prices.

Hope that helps

I went with t-maxx style aluminum clutch and did the maxx wheel mod... truck will do backflips with the os 18 engine.. you should be able to do some wheelies with the stock engine however, but i can't confirm this.. the biggest problem is lack of traction and clutch engagment.... the alum clutch helps alot and the pin tires just hook up... try running in grass, it helps for traction...Be careful and keep an eye on the diff cups and dogbones, as the repeated pounding will break parts... there are several mods to help with this... just search this site for help....

that is the mod I was talking about and its very easy to do.... just have to get over hacking up a bunch of new overpiced cen cvd's.. I used 4 brand new ones and thats around 70-80 dollars.... the rest of the traxxas parts will set you back another 50-60 dollars or go on e-bay and find new ones cheap.... Do not use any used t-maxx parts or you will be replacing very soon...
The wheels I used are rpm wide offset..http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXAFW8&P=7You must use these or your a-arms will be too short... No turning.. I think rpm calls them stablemaxx.... I used standard proline pinshttp://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXABV5&P=7
Hope this helps
