I was just getting my truck out for my Labour day bash. The truck will not stop flooding, the high speed niddle is 2 1/2 turns from flush. The truck will start on the first pull and then die. The idle gap is about 1 1/2 mm from closed. I can kink the fuel line and the truck will stop flodding, then will fire on the next pull and die. I had the truck started but i couldn't get it the move it would just die if i gave it throttle. This happend before and the idle gap had closed and it was sucking fuel. This same problem seems to happen when ever i take the motor out. Do you have any idea what is wrong?

I take it the compression is still good? Your HSN is a fair way in there, but then again, the weather here is very different to yours.
The linkage is working ok? Thats all I can see changing when you take the engine out then replace it tbh.

Get it all setup right first mate, and then start fiddling - it might be something simple that youve overlooked, especially in the linkage.

If your HSN is screwed out 2 1/2 turns from flush you are running way to rich. You will need to screw your HSN in all the way untill it slightly bottoms out and then screw it out 2 1/2 turns.
The LSN you might want to screw in 1 to 1 1/2 turns from flush. These settings might be a little to lean for you weather conditions but the truck should run on them. I would also put in a new OS A5 glow plug.
There is also a possibility that it is time for a rebuild.

Other than that, check your linkage like PJ says!

ok, Sorry bout that it is 2 1/2 from all the way in.
What in the lingage should i check?(this seems to happen every time it tack the motor out so it must be the linkage.) truck ran hot up at the lake but did run good(motor was dirty)
