As i'm primarily a CEN user (ST2 & Mini Madness) I wanna get me a Buggy, but don't know which one for me budget - £200+/-
And as I can't find a buggy post on here I thought I'd ask you guys?
I think i've narrowed it down to the following
XTM Racing XT2 or Carson Specter??? (Can't find CEN in the uk at the mo)
Please advise or add an opinion
Thanks

Personally I would look for something from ebay. Although I don't have any first hand experience of either of the buggies you have mentioned, I know you would be able to get a more 'recognised' brand for about the same money if you bought second hand. The problem with getting a Carson or XTM would be aftermarket parts. I imagine that you would be stuck with manufacturers hop ups as your only option with these brands, a HoBao hyper7 for example, would open up a whole world of aftermarket brands and would cost about the same from ebay. Have a look around, there are some real bargains to be had.
Just had a quick look around and £200 will get you a long way on ebay. There is a Kyosho MP777 starting at £100, a GS Storm going for £72!! or the piece de resistance, a CEN Matrix RTR for BIN £207 (minus shipping).

XTM products in my opinion are solid and reliable. I have the X-Factor 2 and the Mammoth ST and haven't had a problem with them that I haven't caused.
For more info on the XT2 you should check out the Global forums.

I have a GS Racing Avenger Storm MKII, although it only has a few tanks run through it, and I havent taken it offroad yet, but it has so far impressed me. Radio gear is so so, but it is a 3 channel FM set, and the steering servo has been upgraded, but for the price I paid it was good value for money.
