Where should I use this optional drivetrain, would it work best on short tracks which need fast acceleration or large tracks which use more top end.
The stock setup out of the box with the CT5 what type of track is that good for??
thanks folks

the gearing Installed on the car when opened new is what is called the track gearing for acceleration, the optional gears/belt that is included in the parts is the top end speed setup, put those on, and thats where you get the 73.4 MPH the car claims.

Stock set-up for CT5 is for big tracks.... the optional belts and pulleys work better on smaller tight tracks....
The speed belts and pulleys are also an awesome ratio for those of you that accidently put off road motors in there ;/

now i was told by Gabe B from CEN they came with the "Race Track" Gearing installed ( smaller gears and belt ) and the highspeed gears and belt, included in your spare parts, was the speed set up, slower off the line, but faster in the end run due to the taller gearing. and i have to agree. i can only get about 63mph with gearing installed when i got it new, n the extra in my parts bag are taller, so ill get more top speed.
i have also seen others have modified other gears and belts for some slightly different gearing ratios too.
