Default Help with Matrix RTR

I got a Matrix RTR for Xmas and decided to try running it today. I replaced the carb needles that came with it. And yes, I lubed them up before putting them in. Well, it seemed like it had no compression and there seemed to be fuel coming out from the cooling head so after checking the bolts, they were loose. I tightened them up and first pull, it fired right up. I know that during break in, you're supposed to run it at idle for 4 to 5 tanks of fuel and letting it cool down btween tanks. Well, it idles great but when i give it even the slightest bit of throttle, it dies. I'm not trying to run it hard or beat it but just trying to get the rpm's up a bit but can't. I've played with the needles but can't seem to get it to run any different. Any ideas what the problem may be? [:@]

Why did you replace the carb needles? Check to see if your needle setting are out of whack> If the main needle is way to rich OR lean it will die when you give it gas, lean it out a half a turn and see what happens, better or worse then go back to where it was now richen it up half a turn and so on.... Tho see if the setting are off.
