CEN's forum/customer service
Has anybody been able to create a new user account on the cenracing.com forum recently? I have tried setting up an account a couple times and sent a couple emails to their customer service in the last few weeks and haven't gotten a response. Why is their customer service so bad??? The Genesis is a beast, and when it isn't broken it's a blast to drive, but the way they treat their customers makes me want to dump it on eBay and get another brand.

Not new to CEN (been a Genesis LE owner for about a year now), but I hadn't experienced that level of customer service neglect before. I had some issues under warranty and they were solved quickly and to my satisfaction. I used to be an active poster on their forum when Gabe was participating, but it seems like it went down hill after he left. I'll never understand why companies let the "little things" slide.

CEN Racing takes pride in its customer satisfaction rating. We have had countless customers Thank us for standing behind our product.
We are currently having some server issues an our IT guy went with Andy to the big race to represent our small but groing fleet of competitive race kits. As an OEM and entry level manufacturer for hobby enthusiast we are doing our very best to stay on top of customer issues... and as the only company that offers an honest 60 day limited warranty-
we extend the very best service- which means for certain technical issues we will take the required time to fully explain what could be the cause of issue or how we solve the issue... this type of call takes 20 minutes for a novice who needs answers.-5 calls could be missed- and when we get your call or e-mail we make sure you get the same effort from our friendly staff.
CEN racing is currently blossoming and growing from a small company to a competitive threat in the racing market- with the small work force that stays dedicated and focused on bringing the entire business to its new industry standard. Which means we are currently hiring for Customer Service phone reps and a top notch sales agent-
We take pride in our product and our customers the CEN website new members are currently being screened by Simon- he is a great guy and if you have been waiting to achive membership status try sending him an e-mail - [email protected]
As far as customer service Erik has been doing a fantastic job and will be overseeing the inbound call center... he is also our Customer Service Manager so any questions and concerns can be e-mailed to him directly - [email protected]
Don't forget that our Regional Reps are always there for your help as well... this is a valuable asset to people who want real race tech type answers and dialed set-ups fast- go to cen reps button on our website!!!!!!!!!

Personally I like my CENs, and am looking to get a matrix truggy too.
Not criticizng CEN, It's great that you are on the forums sometimes, but if you guys could check in on the forums and reply to emails faster it would go a LONG way.

We understand. We just have some new bloods joined us recently and we will be making everyone happy again. We will have someone dedicated to service the online message boards. Thank you for the patient and support.

Hi all,
This is Simon. I will also explain why maybe some of your accounts might not have been activated. Before, the CEN forum was getting plastered by spammers. They would create accounts and post away with porn links and such, thus ruining the forum for every RC visitor.
I do check the forum list twice a day and try to ensure everyone that is not a spammer will get approved ASAP. As for eplummer, please send me a PM with your email address and I will look out for your account on the forum and activate your account. I do believe most of you that want to visit the CEN forum don't need to see posts advertising cheap meds, "celeb photos", and the other usual spam junk that goes to your email address.
Unfortunately, right now the forum is down due to some IT issues, and we at CEN do apologize for the delay. If you have a Customer Service issue and you need assistance right away, you can PM me here on RCU, or you can email me [email protected]. There are three of us here on RCU checking for customer questions, (Andrew Smolnik, Me, and CEN Racing).
As for warranty claims, you can also call into the office, or you can email me with a description of the problem and we can go from there. Remember, we are here to help you out and our goal is for you, the customer, to enjoy the RC hobby.

Thanks! Maybe there is a bug with the forum software because I have the emails stating "Your account is currently inactive" for both eplummer and eplummer1. I didn't get an activation email for either, but see that the eplummer1 account is activated now.

Nope, all my details were correct including my email address.
I got a confirmation letter back saying I will receive another when my account is activated, but nothing after that.
I have just tried to register again with the user name Scott. And I have just got another confirmation mail back.
Hopefully this one will work.
Maybe I was thought to be a spammer. [&o]
