Turnbuckles hitting shocks on Nemesis
#1
Has anyone done a mod to theire Nemesis/Genesis to stop the front turnbuckles from hitting the shock while turning?
It only really happens when you steer while the suspension is down all the way, but looking at the wear pattern on my shock and the plastic piece on the turnbuckle, that seems to happen more then you would think.

Hey Blitzkriec, Yes it does happen more than you might think only because when the truck is under acceleration the front end is lifted somewhat but enough to make contact with the shocks. To Avoid Contact I move the shock position to the outer most hole on the lower arm and I use the rear most hole in the drag link. that stops the rubbing but it also changes your steering ackerman just a touch, Not enough to notice. Not at least with my style of driving. The racing crowd might dissagree.
Oh I have the New Era Drag link

this is what i have done just with the nemesis,i put the front shocks to the outer hole where they would have the canilever overhead shock. it seems to lower the front for exellent turning in the corners and i dont have the steering binding anymore. the downside you lower your center clearance .
