Chris, welcome to the boards(forums) and the world of CEN ownership..

5 hours should be enough to get your engines started.

You really should not leaveyour fuel in any open container, the nitromethane will evaporate very fast and the alcohol will absorb moisture. Your fuel shouls always be kept in an airtight container in a cool dry location..

Again Welcome, And feel free to use the search feature to answer all your questions. if the search does not get you results then ask!!

Make sure you have fuel to the carb. You can pull the line off the muffler and give it a couple of quick puffs. Make sure your ignitor is charged. Pull the plug and connect the ignitor. You should have a strong glow. Good spark and fuel and you should fire. you could also trim the throttle servo up ( open at the carb ) just a bit when starting.

The engine is set to run very fat ( rich ) for break in. The big puddle is normal and yes, you can adj the shift points later. Smoke is normal also.
