Well folks, after a nice long mostly rainy memorial day weekend I was able to salvage the better part of sunday and all day monday to bash my new Cen GST 7.7 and all I can say is WOW! This truck is AWESOME, not only in size, the powerband and performance is flawless! After the break in period (which I got tired of yanking on the pull starter and wanted to replace with the roto start!!! - BUT DIDN'T!!) this puppy runs like a charm. Once primed it only takes a couple of pulls and blam she's purring like a tiger ready to pounce. I was at our local park bbq'in with friends and family and once I took out the GST 7.7 monster I instantly had a crowd drooling over the trucks size and performance! (I did my sales job too and plugged CEN! since this is by far the best truck I have ever owned). Speaking of owned, the reason for taking a chance on the CEN GST 7.7 was because my Revo was so damn hard to tune in every time I took it out (the last 2 times the damn thing wouldnt even start), it nearly pushed my to the dark side (electric) permanently. So I am glad to have taken the chance with CEN, keep up the good work!!! I cant wait to get my Matrix and Nemesis this fall!!! I wish I could of taken advantage of the Memorial day sale (I did let everyone I know and then some know about the sale=))but not enough loot in my budget right now, but this fall you can bet I will be sporting a couple new CENs!

I think you can say that about all companys; I dont care for Traxxas for quality and performance reasons, HPI customer support is not very good in my opinion, and Team Losi also has quality issues. I think that saying Cen has a bad rep with a lot of people is a broad statement. Each RC company has issues with customer care, quality, performance, etc and the only time you hear things about companys is when there pissed off because there RC vehicle is not perfect. I think with the more popular company's (i.e. Traxxas, HPI, Losi) there customers tend to bash the others companys product cause they had a bad experience and they switched, fine, but do we say that Traxxas has a bad rep or HPI has a bad rep? All Im saying is I have vehicles from Traxxas, HPI, Losi, and now CEN and each have there own issues with quality, performance and customer service. So I dont beleive any manufactuer is perfect or better than the rest, there all unique in a there own way.

Very well said. They all have issues but it all boiles down to what you as the one that has the product is happy with. I have had them all. And they are like pets... You find what you are happy with and stick to it.. Im always content when they are running sweet and nothing is breaking but that would not be the hobby if that was the way it was. Thats why we have these boards and great people that love this hobby like all of us here.. I just got my Cen just not too long ago and so far I love it. It will put a ass kicking on my savage. Read you Loud and clear my Friend> I too own a cen gst monster truck and man that truck really surprize me, It hauls ass! Ther is a video on youtube called (cen respect) and some of you might have seening the video already but let me tell you for those who haven't, take a good look at that video beating the revo 3.3 truck in a race. That gst truck is no joke and to be honest I hear a lot of people saying you cannot get parts for that truck, If that were the case then I gust cen the company it self would not be standing the comsumers is what makes a company what it is. You may not find some parts in some HobbyShop but in time we will. CEN is making a huge impact for them self, They are not going any were no time soon.[>:] CEN FAN FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
