Hey all,
Just wondering what you guys use for servos in your genesis series RCs.
After destroying a Hitec 5955TG, I bought a bunch of stock 10KG CEN ones off ebay. Trouble is, they seem to last about an hour or less each before I strip them.
I've tried stock steering linkage, alum steering linkage w/ bearings, plastic and alum servo arms, and I seem to end up stripping servos anyway [:@]
Anybody found a good servo thats tough enough for these trucks? Or has anyone done a nice and neat dual servo mod?
Thanks!

If you don't fancy doing such a mod, why not back off your servo saver spring tensioner.
The steering may not be so direct, but at least you won't eat servos.

TRD, Looks wicked man, Hope you dont mind if I infringe on your patent for that design
Scott GTR, yeah, probelm is I only have it set at about 3/4 spring tensions, so IDK why I keep breaking them. Plus I love modding stuff
blackrain, Ill check that servo out, might be what I need.
Thanks all

BayRyder, I used a [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Revo-Y-Splitter-Servo-Connector-Adapter-Traxxas_W0QQitemZ190130626887QQihZ009QQcategoryZ34 063QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem]Revo servo Y-splitter[/link], but any servo Y-splitter will do the job..

After my first 10kg Cen servo died i found CanYouDIY was selling a 25kg Servo!!! it wasn't until it arrived that i realised it was a 1/5th Scale servo - nearly twice as big as the original
i decided it was going to fit anyways

That is another way of getting around the problem.

Good work.
