If anyone is having a tough time accessing that LSN, just swap the exhaust pieces end to end. I don't know why they don't do that at the factory? Things that make you go HMMM.

I would be willing to bet there are some pretty marred up LSN needles on these things. Unless you have a very small L-shaped (VERY small bend radius too boot) flat tip, you can't turn that needle without damage to the groove. You must take the exhaust off to access it. It's a straight shot to the needle with the ends on the exhaust reversed.

You know I did that to see just what it looked like and never sussed that it would aid access to the LSN and then I put it back the awy it was...Cheers dude...

I definitley had the same problem accessing the LSN, Im not sure how reversing the exhaust ends didnt make a difference for you TERMINATOR, unless some of these trucks have subtle design differences...I got mine back in November and it is my first RC...and even before I ever put fuel in it I saw this problem and corrected it by switching the exhaust, so Im with you MINDTRIX in saying I dont know how they miss that at the factory; and contrary to the post from CEN Racing above, I have read a lot about people having trouble accessing it. All that being said, I am extremely happy with my MG-16!!!!

The pede pipe was a disappointment. The manifold was too restrictive. Muck76 found that if you make the stock oToyz forum for complete details.

If any body is looking for a new body for these just take the stock one with some 20% fuel and some steel wool and about 20 min. later you have a crystal clear pre cut shell to paint
. I did mine all black with green flames and added all green fuel tubing every where even on the pull start and it came out really good. I have had about a half gallon through mine and it runs great beats t maxx and nitro evader. My radio sucked so i have another radio and upgraded the steering servo, put in bearings, 5 aaa batt. mod, traxxas skid plate as a wheelie bar, rear turnbuckles of a nitro evader, flipped exauhst to reach the lsn, painted body now im waiting on new meats. Fun little trucks and mine just screams like my cvr .12 and had a differnt cooling head than anyone elses ?

That looks excellent matey, them flames set it off nicely and a great find too.I noticed the white cover paint on the shell inside runs and comes off really easily with fuel but my shells way too far gone to even think of respraying it lol .I'll have a go when I get a new shell, may get 2 and leave one standard and one for show and the old one for bashing.I've quite a few RC models and this little bandit is by far my favourite at the moment.I've done the bearings with Avid ceramic outers and rubber sealed inners,5 cell 1100mah Pack I made, front and rear adjustable top arms and replaced fuel tube and replaced the pullstart handle and fittings with one from a Hyper 7 buggy engine....My wife has one too and its basically the same now except for the pullstart...
**EDIT**Whats the Traxass skid plate from that your using as a wheelie bar buddy..? It looks smart...

it is a t-maxx rear skid plate. I have seen a few people use them. Some like it others say it is too soft.
Nice Job 88, that really does help the look! Also for your FYI. Associated makes a plastic wing like what the jato stock body uses that you can bolt on to the stock body. I will see if i can find the part number tonight.

here is the spoiler. i liked the idea of it as the rear of the stock body needs something to pick it back up IMO.

88, i think you emailed me wanting to know if you could pick it up locally? Would have been and was a great truck for the new owner.
Getting a new RC instead of some one else's can be more fun. You get to mod it your way instead of dealing with the prior owners ideas.
Like i said, i will get another one of these. But i did manage to scrounge up enough $$ to get another mini nitro to try out. I know Mr T has one also but still prefers the MG16.

Im thinking about getting a mg10 monster truck for christmas. I would like to know how fast it goes and if it is a good truck to get. I was also wondering wich truck is better the mg16 or the mg10.
