well I've been battling this restart issue for a while and can't figure it out. I've just added the ofna valve and that really helped my performance but my idle and restart are still an issue. I richend the low speed idle a bit and that kept it from flame-outs in the turn-around after a high speed run but then after three high speed runs with turn arounds it did flame-out and that's when you can't get it to restart. I've changed glow plugs, confimed there is fuel, no air in the supply line, gasket on manifold is tight, tank lid is sealed tight, ignitor is charged etc.. The high speed adjustment seems to be good and I messed a bunch with the low speed idle to try to get it to restart.. no dice. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. can't wait till this thing becomes a little more dependable so it's more fun.
thanks all,
Ken

Hey Ken, When you installed the OFNA valve how much did you lean the hsn?? That controls how much fuel and pressure gets to the lsn. it is a balancing act but you should tune the high speed needle first then the low speed while keeping the Idle screw in check!!
I am in Tucson, so a bashing session would give me the chance to tune it for you.. Let me know..

I was hoping you'd be online bud. Before I added the valve, I had this restart issue also but I'll try again once it cools and I can get it started again. Problem is trying to get it warmed up so I can tune it and then trying to restart it.
I'll keep you posted and if I still can't get it, I'll probably come down.
thanks RDG.
