Default genesis le tranny

when trying to accelerate it seams to be slipping in and out of gear or it just revs up and dont move then when it goes back to idle you can hear it engauge the tranny... whats up thanks in advance

it sounds like you lost a pin in the drive shaft the front one the plastic shaft has a pin or the rear .most likely the front plastic, pin came loose or you lost the pin all together. whats happening is all the power is going to the center diff and since the drive shaft is loose its just sending all the power to the front and none to the rear. i highly dought its a tranny issue unless you locked the center diff.

no i just rebuilt the front shaft cause the pins were wearing into the plastic so the front just got a new shaft and it sounds like a hard click when it engauges and the center diff has never been locked could it poss. be the owb behind the spur gears

No Problem already forgotten, The oneway is located iside the second gear spur gear.. If you need a pic I will see if I can dig one up for ya

The one way can be ordered from eBay or the manufacturer and they are very inexspensive..

cool thanks loads.... thinking about the way it works it only makes sense and since i took it apart i know for sure cause it does slip sometimes spinning it by hand and it really sucks cause i haven't even tuned it good yet

i totally forgot about the one way bearing there, i keep forgetting the 2 speed is on the outside of the tranny

well i hope its ok to do this but i cleaned the one way with a little fuel and three tanks later it has not missed a beat how ever i am still fine tuning ...running a little rich since the engine is only 4-5 tanks past break in

Yeah its ok Maxx. My expeirience has been that once the oneways start to fail they will even after cleaning, so be sure you get one ordered so when it does
