Everytime i Race it down the street and if i hold the breaks it turns off.. I saw a smartech winner pro and on that car you are able to go fast and apply the break and the car just slides and doesnt turn off. Is something wrong with my cen rally funfactor wrx? Its really annoying when everytime i apply the breaks it turns off. Any suggestions anyone?
It starts up normal and goes pretty quick, i just dont understand why it would do this? what are the possibilities?[&o]

its also known as the idle screw, pull off your airfilter and hold the brake on, if the carby closes fully then that is your problem, you need a credit card width gap (approx) there so the carb doesnt close fully when brakes are applied. Your idle needs to be adjusted with this screw rather than the with trim on the transmitter.

its at 1mm- 1.5mm looks about the size of a creditcard.. i still apply the breaks and it turns off for some reason. Maybe its possibly tuned wrong and ive always played with it like that?.. but it always turns off when i apply the breaks.. also when i always start it i always have to apply gas (i use the idler nob on the controller, i always put it either half way - all the way...)When i go down the street it also doesnt sound like its gargling or anything.

Hey Jerry it sounds like you need to either adjust your linkage or the idle set screw is to loose when you apply the break doe the carb close or move at all if it it moves then you need to tighten your idle screw
