Finaly had the chance to run my truck today. Servos went nuts after I started it up so shut her down and flipped the crystals and fixed it (thanks TRD[sm=thumbup.gif]). First time I turned the wheel on the controler the spring broke and it clicks and wont center, tryed not to let the slow me down. Next I broke my temp gun, nothing bad, battery wont say in and have to keep pushing it back into place. Did a few jumps in my normal spot and was getting good air, roll cage took off a few feet but I wan't no where near full speed so just need a longer runway(truck wasn't up to full temp so I don't try to hard till then). Plumbers tape kept my servo saver in place, only thing that went good. Since it was hard to keep the truck centered and I was trying a new jump I came off the jump a little off and ended up doing 3 carwheels and a flip or 2 before landing almost upside down. Ran over to the truck, looked at my gear mesh everything was fine so hit the gas and nothing but a very quick high rev. Crap. Thought I lost the grub screw since when I picked the truck up I had front wheel drive. Took the truck back to my car thinking in a few min's I'll be beating the snot out of my truck again and saw that I killed one of the drive cups on the rear diff[:'(]. Sucks since now my truck is going to be holding the carpet down in my room for a few weeks or months untill some funds come my way.
Roll cage saved my engine but helped kill the cup I think. At least it was fun seeing the truck take the spill it did, was about 6 feet off the ground when I knew this was going to end bad, truck bounced about 3 feet back up into the air from the first hit. Wish I had the video camera today, would of been nice to see that crash again.

Use a 1600 NMH you should get a good 40 minutes out of it.
Sometimes when batteries are new they need to cycle a few time prior to reaching maximum capacity

forevernitro75 Thank you, that's a offer I can't refuse.
slawhammer It's sad to say that even though I didn't get to run long it was fun killing my truck. About your hump pack, I was about to buy new larger batteries for my little girls ST but since the 3rd ge the first battery we used lasted long enough to kill the glue on the drive wheel, about 10 min before the glue let loose and I had to put the truck away, with life still left in the batteries. Before we would get about 2 min of full speed then about 3 of low rider cruise speed.
CEN what's with the " when I hit '? It's bugging me because every time I fix it it goes back to the same stuff[:@]
LoL every time I edit they're getting longer

Thanks slawhammer forevernitro75 is hooking me up and I can't thank him enough. I have a ofna 1600 pack but I lost my connector I made so I have to use AA's till I make another one. To be safe I only run 2 tanks on the AA's and use them in my digital camera or in a clock. I have to build that connector again, cost to much with the AA's. Think when I take the kid to the park today I'm going to see if I can find the other piece of my broken cup.

I use to use AA batteries until the batteries fell out and my Genesis took off on me. when I got home I ordered a few 1400 NiMH packs. I was lucky that I was at an enclosed RC track. My truck hit the barrier, flipped over on its side and was spinning in circles. I didn't break anything though.

forevernitro75 the part came in today, thanks a lot. Think I'm going to open up the rest of my diff tonight and see how good baring grease from a 1:1 truck will work. Dude you rock, you turned a day of pain into a day with more pain with a side of fun
.
Thank you again, if I can get all 3 diffs full of grease tonight me and the kid can play tomorrow[>:].
[edit]
It's multipurpose grease btw. Back to diff baking...
Nevermind about the grease, looks even thinner than what's in there.
