Default Hey CEN...

You guys need to keep a better eye open on your quality control. I had a bad day so I decided it's time to get my truck back togeather and when I opened my center diff and cleaned the grease out I found a problem. On the sides of the inside of the center diff there where 4 pieces of metal stuck to the wall of the small slot down each center of the side walls. I hope I'm the only one that comes across this but I thought other GST owners should know to keep an eye out for this in there diff's. The tooth pick points to the problem area. It's nothing major, but should be taken out.

Poo your right I have found the same "burrs" hanging out in there. Although the metal has not found its way into my gears, yet!! but I could see that causing problems if it does!!

I had these same metal pieces in the diff housings I purchased for my Matrix as well. I noticed it as I was putting together and just sanded either end of the housing on a flat surface and the fell right off the housing. It appears to be some left over material after one of the machining processes that doesnt get cleaned up all the way.
