Heres the pic with the hood off.The TRD filter/primer mod is the filterlooking thing thats attached to the handle,in-line with the pipe. You will have to read up on it here in the cen forums but I will tell you,you have no idea what the NX-76 is capable of until you do it.You will have to retune, but once you get her in there,GOOD GRACIOUS what a beast. This is the mod that makes me not tuck my tail to an LST2[X(]Look into it.Also go to lowes and get a package of 11mm O-rings for the lid on the tank.It comes stock with 12mm but even the 12 from lowes will loose the seal in less than a gallon. The 11mm do an excellent job. Before I did this mod,the MGT 8.0 was giving me fits. With the mod in place, and my stock wheels and tires for top end,I can make light work of the 8.0 at will[:-][:'(][>:]

I did a search for the TRD filter/checjvalve mod and I couldn't find anything. Some help explaining what it is and what it does would be appreciated.

Looks good dude except for the crappy K&N type filter that don't filter enough crap out,OK if your onroad all the time but for offroad even the standard filter would be better...
On a side note, what happened to CEN Racing and why are they not on here personally anymore...???

Well Mr. Terminator,
To be perfectly honest, and I can speak for CEN since I was told directly from CEN Management. This forum became to much of a gripfest from many people who felt as tho they were treated unfairly by CEN Customer Support. And CEN has their own Support Forums They asked that anyone who has any further issues, to Call them @ 714-792-1924 or visit their support forum.
It became to much for them to have employees answer questions here and on their forums, so they decided to stop employees from browsing this site on company time.
There it is in a nutshell.

Thats a shame,CENs Customer Support always helped me out, especially Ken,Eric and Andrew, all great guys who bent over backwards to help people with issues.Anyway,i've sold all but one of my Genesis, still got the LE and thats going nowhere, the Nemesis is still in bits and my MG16MT's are still going strong and loving them.Been away from nitro since getting the Baja SS but recently been back playing with my 1/8 VRX-2 Pro buggy and am considering a new buggy,Caster Racing ZX-1R Pro or Ishima M01R.
Anyhow, its good to know you'll still be about Dog,i'll have a shufty at the CEN forum, cheers dude and thanks fo the heads up....

Too bad you dont like the filter.I think it LOOKS great wich is why it is used for pictures only.I have too much money in my truck to kill it like that, but I think its an upgrade in the looks dept.

If it is ,or if it were a true K&N using K&N oil, you can't have a much better filter. I ran a Husky 250WR in hundreds of miles desert racing. The dirtier they got, the better they were. When you pulled the filter, the carb throat was always spotless.

A Huskey 250 engine ain't a nitro engine, they simply drag in too much dirt, the tiniest particles of dirt will eventually kill a nitro engine and K&N's,S&B's and all of the varients are pretty poo when it comes to nitro mills.I have a bank of 4 K&N's on my '81 Kawasaki GPZ 1100 B2 and they're great on what they're designed for,the small ones like whats fitted to nitro's are designed as filters for crankcase breathers and the like, they do look the dogs dangleis (not that i've ever seen Dog's danglies) and I have one myself that came off a Macstar .28 6 port I bought off some one but it never gets used....
