Here's the view from the kits available at Singapore Hobby Supplies. This was on the shelving where the MK kits were listed. There was a warehouse sale recently and the Wild 7 went for SGD300. Same as the Joker some 5 years ago (when they had the last warehouse sale).

Yup, didn't make that mistake this time around. Ignored the Joker back then and just picked up one of the last 2 at SHS (there was one last Joker 25 left too). Know of another Joker 60 and 2 Curare 60s but am sure the owners won't part with them just yet. Here's the collection I've been lucky enough to get of late.

Will keep that in mind when I get flustered fabricating the parts from the plan. Am currently working on Mark Rittinger's 1/2A MinE Curare. Next up will be a restoration of a 60 Curare that was kindly 'given' to me by a fellow modeller.1/2A Curare Build:

Here's my MK Joker build - too bad this wasn't mine to keep. Had offered to build this for a friend:

I just saw a couple of MK Joker 60 kits languishing in the upper shelf of a hobby shop in Manila. Each one was priced at around P12,520, equivalent roughly to about SGD350. There was a Wild 7 kit, too, but for over double the price of the Jokers (equivalent to SGD770 if memory serves). The World Models ARFs displayed beside them are apparently moving, but these kits are only gathering dust until a classic pattern afficionado or collector comes along.

Those prices are comparable to Singapore hobbies prices (if they had any MK kits left [
]). The Joker (when it last was sold here in the USA through Indy R/C) sold for about $300 and the Wild-7 sold for at least $600, but is a much nicer kit than the Joker - the wing and stab sheeting is one sheet of pre-cut balsa and there are some very nice pre-formed wood pieces, too. The Wild-7 also includes the plug in stab mechanics.
Does that hobby shop ship overseas?

The last time I was in Lil's hobby shop in Makati (Park Square), I asked about shipping some kits to the states and all I got were some blank stares. They have a bunch of older kits and some cool OS engine displays in the window, including a Hanno.

I think that's the place kevs182 is refering to.

You can check the drawings posted here for center of gravity. Should be easy to calculate from that.
