I've probably been to the contest site... a million years ago... but is there a covered pit area or should I bring my ez-up canopy?

Vquick, I am president of the Pensacola club and we haven't heard of this contest. Can you please send info/flyer to our secretary: [email protected] so we can get it out to our membership. This is being held at the Eglin Aeromodelers field?

Victor, I sent you my list of maneuvers today. Let me know if you received them, as I have sent them a couple of times, they have
been returned as it seems like there is some kind of block on your I phone.. anyway, Peggy and I will be down Thursday PM and hope to get a few flights in on Friday, if the field is open !!

Victor, and the whole EAM gang,
We just got home after a great weekend in the FL Panhandle, THANK YOU guys for the good times!
Those that didn't make it, missed a great event. Yes, the weather was 'iffy-ish', but we managed 4 rounds on Saturday and flew until it was so dark that Jamie said he couldn't see his Curare... which was after I couldn't see my mostly white Bootlegger on the north turnarounds!
Sorry to see Curt lose two airplanes in two days, but he'll have his new Super Curare in the air by next weekend! Great to catch up with RVP, Jamie, Dave and the R/C Aerobatics CB 'Grand Poobah' again too. Cool to see Cody and Chuck try their hands at this, and I loved Julio's 'formal' maneuver calling when he flies too! Thanks for letting me join in on the fun, it's been a long time!
I leave you with this, we need to support these events or they'll go away. It ain't about who wins the trophies, it's about the rush we get from flying these classics and the fellowship with others like us.
Now, get something built for next season!

Man "O" Man what a fun trip ! Want to also say thanks to Victor, and the whole gang for a fun contest ! Looking forward to next year already.
I agree with Cliff about those that didn't make it missed a fun event ! I can't begin to tell you all the old stories that started " you remember when " and most ended with a great big laugh from all. Also like Cliff said, we need you guy's that are sitting on your hands, to drag out something and Fly with us ! if you don't you are missing a lot of fun.. I'm sure we will have a line up on contest coming up for 2014 so keep an eye out for a event near you !!
