Guys,

I have an LA1 with a Hanno Special I have been flying since 1993. One of the retracts broke yesterday. Probably expected after 20 years of service.

My problem is that I can't find an exact replacement. I bought the plane already built and cannot contact the builder. The part has no identifying numbers. I need to find the exact part so it will fit perfectly.

See attached photos. Anyone have any idea who the manufacturer is?

At first when I saw the Green colored retracts , I knew I had those too . However ,after pulling out a set of NOS I have been saving for a CPA plane , the Supra Retracts ,designed by Hanno Pretter , also green , are made a little different . Possibly yours are related ,made before or after ,because of the green anodized main frame ,and black wire strut .That description , is what I would put out there for a search or Wanted item .
