Default Supertigre X60

I need a header for a side exhaust x60. Anyone have one for sale or does someone make one?

Thanks Tim

Call Macs products. If he doesn't have one he will make one for you. He made me a custom angled header for a rear exhaust Jett 50, I had it in 2 days.

Sheldon's Hobbies has a Macs long 2911. Long is usually used for a side mounted engine.

Check the auction site - $22 plus shipping.

What model is the engine going into?

Tim,

For an upright install you'll need a standard header, for a side mount you'll need a long one so the pipe clears the wing.

Some may disagree, but take it from a man who tried to fly a glass Dirty Birdy with a side exhaust X60 - you WILL want more power unless your UFO is MUCH LIGHTER than my DB was. A Super Tigre S-61 or Como 61 will drop right into the same mount as the X60 and make a LOT more power. Photo shows good friend Steve G. posing with my DB after the S-61 was installed.

Another reason I mention this is that the X60 requires an adapter plate and a header to fit which is not interchangable with any other ST 61. The S-61/Como 61 use a simple bolt-thru header. YMMV.

Here is what I put the Supertigre X60 in. I order the header from Sheldon Hobbies today. Brings back old memories.
