Default Typhoon 2000 vs 2+2

Hi All,

I'm preparing for my winter build and have to choose between the Typhoon 2000 and Typhoon 2+2. I have plans for both and wanted to know the differences between the 2 planes.

Aside from slight differences between wingtips, stab tips and Fin/Rudder shape, what other significant differences are there? Which flew better? Which came first?

I appreciate any and all replies!

Patternwannabee.

I believe Typhoon 2000 was the latest of R. Chidgey's Typhoon series.
SInce you have plans you can compare yourself. I remember T. 2000 to have larger volume fuselage.

If you are into building, check this thread in RCU:
Typhoon 2000 (TEMPEST) modifications thread

Also search for "two meter plans" in Pattern forum.

Hi ini.

Thanks for your reply. I did follow the tempest build thread some years ago. Thanks for reminding me.
