Tipo's with pumps, pipes, and retracts are welcome at BPA (Ballistic Pattern Association). I was one of the folks trying to get the Tiporare "legalized" at SPA. That was before I was told how adament they are about their founding concept of "simple airplanes, no pipes, no retracts, designed before Jan 1976". Unfortunately there don't seem to be nearly as many BPA events as SPA events. My Tipo will be ready to fly for next season.

ChiefK,

great news! (Well, some of it...) Do you have any photos of progress on your Tipo? I hope to start on mine this week... cores at the border.

David.
