New Lanier Dart ARF
Awhile back I read that Lanier was discontinuing the old plastic ARFs and re-releasing them as Chinese built-up ARFs. It looks like the first one will be available soon. The description says "Built-up balsa and fiberglass cowl." Priced at $200.

The old one is $70.

RE: New Lanier Dart ARF
Thats interesting they had a bunch of AC such as the Rebel bipe a long ways back I saw a Lanier Jester back done in a perfect acrylic automotie enamel in gold over all scheme that truly daazzeled as in good flight performance for its era too--and looked alot like the 1971 Nats winner Ron Cidgeys Tigertail--- however back to Laniers foam and ABS constructed ARFS I remember, then again, others, called them "Plastic pigs.." In my opinion they were worth it in their day but a 200- version built in China or where the heck else should be a excellent sport airplane probably weighing considerably less than the origional (foam and ABS molded plastic LanierDart.)

I dunno whay they started with the dart. Or even do that one at all. Seems like the Jester, Caprice, Rebel Bipe, and Comet would be the ones to start with.
