why do I notice slight irony in your message ? I did not find it that cheap, but anyway, now I have got one.

...too bad it isn't a ringed version....
....this is what can happen to the nickel plated version. [:@]

Most American Eba* guys don't sell abroad [
].
Indeed the devaluated $ makes stuff cheaper, ie a magic on *bay at 305$ makes about 231 €.
But prolly, it helps your economy as well guys !

My liner and piston sets arrived today and they look great. Much lighter than the stock setup and some awesome machine work. The side bypass port is machined at an angle to improve induction flow and the exhaust port is one opening rather that two. I think OS did that so they could share the liner with the ring setup. Includes the piston snap rings too.
Great work Dave and thanks a bunch for taking on this project.

I understand from talking with Dave that quite a few guys who wanted these haven't bothered to respond to his emails. He isn't real happy about making parts then having guys bail on him.
If you told him you wanted the parts, GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM!

Hey Jim,
I'm sorry to hear that. I just got the 5 that I ordered (and PAID for!!). Maybe, I'll buy a couple more. If Dave gets stiffed you can be sure he won't be doing any more special orders like this one. Plus the price is VERY reasonable at $95 per set (cheaper than the Tower OS replacements with the nickle plated 'peeler' liners).
PAY UP guys, PLEASE!!

Hi, SynergyPilot (Gunnar Snellman) here. I have via email several times tried to get in contact with Dave to give him my CC details as I *REALLY* want those parts I ordered. I will try to call him again to see what went wrong. Does anyone of you guys have his direct phone number ?
Thanks.

i bought a nib os 61 sf pumped... it was unused but 15 years of age.. no visible rust anywhere... and i have two remarks... first, i have been unable to start this engine easyly since, because of the pump, its flooded at every first attempt... i finally clamped the fuel ,line to avoid that, is this the good method?
second, i flew for about three hours, and the bearings have always been noisy... then, the engine has quit forever, since a dozen of balls has separate from the bearing, destroying piston, liner.... so, is there an experienced modeler to tell me the best way to start up the engine? what is the signal to replace the bearings? am i unlucky, or is that a well know failure on that engine? best regards to all thouse nice guys.. lionel
