Default Mach 8

I didn't know about this one. It's a forty-size Mach I by Joe Utasi. I got the plans from a friend today.

I had a Mach 8 around 75 with an HP-40 and boy did it haul. Great flying plane and I'm thinking of building another one soon. I will say this though. It flies fast and lands fast, but it is a lot of fun to fly. Keep it light and it is great. Build it heavy and it is a dog. Mine was light, fast and a great flying plane. I would love to have another.

I am building a Mach 8 right now from the RCM plan and September 1973 issue of RCM. I had Wing Mfg make foam cores for this plane, and the cores are absolutely flawless. I did not even have to sand them before adding the sheeting You can contact Wing Mfg at (269)665-9630 and talk to Dan or Billie Gipe to order them.

I just thought I'd bump this thread since there's been discussion of forty-size models.

Ray, Of course the lady is happy after see had elected the plane with the nicest color scheme! See knows.

My advice: Make the plane you like, give it the colorscheme she likes and live will be much easier for you!
