I am going to be building a foam wing for a Phantom, I plan on making it a fixed gear taildragger.
What is the best way to mount the landing gear blocks in the wing?

fixed gear?? eewwww!!! seriously, probably gorilla glue since it expands into the foam. and 1/4" posts like us retracters
use in our gear blocks would be a good idea. make sure the block is firmly clamped in place due to the gorilla glue's expanding properties.

I do these type of wings for customers all the time.. I make a small piece of light ply for the block to set into and then the light ply slides into the foam also. I do all my skins with polyurethane glue and then I also have a carbon strip That ties into it all. If the customer wants i also put a small piece of carbon vail in the area.. no problems yet..
don't for get we do custom wing / stab work and short kits.
cheers,
