I don't know if this plane belong here, looks like is not really know and obscure design.
I saw 2 of them flying here in Mexico looong time ago and always liked the way it looked in flight.
Thanks to a good friend from USA I was able to get this one and now is finished and flown.
It has an OS 32 for power and 9650 Futaba servos.
Flies like it's on rails and land like a feather!!
I'm really happy on how this one has flown.
Saludos.

Thanks for the compliment and yes, I build it from a very old Champion kit.The original design was published on Flying Models in July 83.
Designed by Dick Sarpolus.
Mated together with modern engines and electronics this plane is really cool.
It's covered in Monokote white, transparent orange and blue.
The bottom is full red.
Saludos.

Bolio: What a treat to see your Hammer here. Here's the whole story on that plane. It was originally designed a 25 size by Dick Sarpolus and kitted by Bob Peru. owner of Champion Models. Bob Dick and I all were good friends and lived close by. I built and flew one and suggested he make it a 45 size which he did. I became his tester and flew it in competition many times back then. It is not a pattern plane by todays standards but back then it held its own. This was about 1980. I still have some of the pix that were taken of me and the Hammer and used in magazine and newspaper ads. I also still have a Hammer which I continue to fly, a great plane. Let me know how you do with it.
