<span style="font-size: medium">Hello,
I was just looking at a ready to fly Top Flite Taurus on the auction site. The wing planform looks differnet than the one I had years ago. Did they make it in more than one configuration? Spoke to a buddy of mine and he thinks there were at least two and possibly three different layouts.

Hi Steve,
I saw that Taurus last night, real pretty. I had a Taurus in the late 1960's that had a swept leading edge and a straight trailing edge. The wing was not built by the kit, but from an artical in Amerian Modeler magazine. I loved the way it flew that way. I could even get it to spin which I had a very hard time doing with the normal wing. Bet that one will go for a pretty penny. I saw that plane last year at a fly-in, boy did that OS 61 pull it!!! I had a Merco 49 in mine.

Hi,
I believe that Top Flite offered only the original Taurus. The change to a straight trailing edge was a change that Kazmirski (and others) made when he started flying proportional with the ship.
