I am wanting to build a Aurora 60 over the winter. I have engines and retracts sitting in a box just awaiting seeing blue sky again. Is there anyone here that can assist with a plan set for me to build off of. Wood fuse and wings are fine. I remember there was a person to supply a fiberglass fuse also here on the forum a while back. Might go that route if available. Let me know if you could help out.
Thanks in advance

Thanks to some members here I now have the plans to build from. Just ordered me a new ATX 10 radio and box of balsa. Only thing lacking is the fiberglass enging cowl and plastic canopy. Does anyone have any leads on these Items? I know MHester has a mold for the cowling but looks like he is taking a break from RCU forum. Let me know if can help. I can make a plug and mold of the cowl but would rather have one pulled from the original. Thanks in advance Joe

I'll try and splash mine over the holiday vacation...I have to do the Aurora 45 anyway (a promise..long over due)...I'll have all the stuff going on my "big project" anyhow so I'll try and set those belly pans up while I'm working on "other stuff"...
Good Luck with your build!!
Chuck
P.S. Would you want S-2 glass, Carbon Fiber, 50/50 Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Hybrid or 100% Kevlar for the material??
Note: The 100% Kevlar is a little difficult to trim when your doing the openings ect...It's very light and tough but is a little flexible too...Even though it's pretty flexible I think it would make a good belly pan if it wasn't so dang hard to deal with...

Chuck, S-2 glass is fine for mine with a carbon strip along the horizantal where the cowl meets to the fuslage for strength. Please let me know how it goes. If you dont have the time I could make the mold. I have the materials and the time. Call me if you want to talk. I send you my # to your email address.
Still on the look out for a clear canopy.
Thanks all. Joe
