I suspect you have a 7DV I have one on my OS 61 FSR they do not need the insert, as stated in pasts posts.

The 7D with insert came out on a 61 RF normaly but I think some times they were ordered special for FSR 61 engines.

Oil in Muffler could be from running too rich a mix, all depends on the type of fuel and what type of oil, with castor (castrol M) 20%, 5% nitro you should get a grey/black deposit on your tail when the mix is about right after a 16oz tank of fuel. there should not be oil inside your muffler of any large amount.

I run my engine's 2 clicks or so rich from max RPM to allow for leaning out in the air.

Hope this helps

I agree that that looks to be a 7DV carb rotor. If that's the 8mm bullet and a 9mm doesn't fit you got your answer and don't need the insert.

You never mentioned what size prop you are using with this engine. What size is it?

11x6

I richen ΒΌ turn back after max rpm. Is two clicks rich ok?

ΒΌ rich is how I run all my 4 strokes.

I am getting a black oily deposit from muffler to tail witch literally is dripping off of the wing saddle, fuselage, and tail.

I'll give it a try. Should I try leaning it out more? I am a little afraid of running to lean.
