Your wish has been granted. Sorry for the delay. I hope you all enjoy the new format as it highlights both aspects of this niche equally.

In my browser the Pattern forums are under the heading of the MAAC. Not yours?

I’m having trouble setting my new forum settings and it shows up under “kit building” ”, although it is correct in the area where you make the selections. . .

I see. I am too having trouble with My Forums. It's under MAAC even after I reselected the My Forums page to the new heading. It works fine under all forums, though. Looks good, too!

It is odd that they show as sub forums under “kit building”, but if you click the kit building link they are not there.

While there are a few other things I have problems with on my RCU account (e.g., getting booted off regularly), the new structure is coming in just as it should for me. I re-organized my forums and they came in as requested. I don't know if browser software might have something to do with it but I wouldn't be surprised. I'm using Firefox 3.6.

David.

Go to Settings and make sure all the new pattern forums including its new parent is part of your MyForums list

Having the same trouble. The pattern groups only show up under the MAAC heading. I've reset all the My Forums options, makes no difference. Note - no matter what I do the Pattern Universe box always unchecks itself after I save my preferences, though Pattern and Classic Pattern remain checked. And here is the real stumper, this occurs in Firefox 3.6.2 and Internet Explored 8.

Same problem with me. Also about a dozen guys posted problems over in regular Pattern too.

go to tools and choose options on your browser, and delete all of your history and cookies, this should release the browser to hold your new settings

Anyone know the name of the RCU cookie? Deleting all of them would be a major problem and some have tried it with no results.

I keep a handful of links in my history buffer. For this forum, I have been using only http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_379/tt.htm for months and it still works great.

Has anyone that had the problem been able to fix it yet?

RE: Pattern Flying Forum Structure

The format of keeping these two forums as main level forums makes sense given the activity of both, we just need to figure out why the subscriptions are reacting as they are. I am not able to replicate on my computer which makes a little tougher to troubleshoot. I did however change the structure which should help the subscription and how it's showing issues for now.

Please let me know if we continue having problems.

I am having the same problem as several others. I traced it down to the forum subscriptions page asfarasmy "My Forums" is concerned.

I have the new "Pattern Universe" when selecting the"Forums" tab, but not when I select "My Forums".

When I go to subscribe to the new forumunderthe "Settings tab" Pattern Universe is not there.

For me theR/C Pattern Flyingand Classic Pattern Flying fall under Kit Building when "Kit Building" .ElectricPattern does not even show up.To get them to display I have to select either "Kit Building" or "M.A.A.C " If I uncheck "Kit Building" they display under 'M.A.A.C." when checked. Weird.

I deleted all cookies and deleted all browsing history. Still same problem.</p>
