RE: Club 40 Pylon Race at WAAM in Tuscaloosa Aug 4th, 2012
Tim,
That is one great sounding engine, I have been wanting to put a big Moki radial on a giant scale Gee Bee fantasy racer ever sense I saw one at the Toledo show a couple of years ago. The only thing stopping me is $$$$$$$$$$$$ LOL. Check out some of the videos on you-tube of them.

"Tim, I think we can maybe talk the CD's into letting you use that new engine but you must mount that wood mount that its attached on to your existing firewall of your Skyraider...( just to be fair
Oh yeah, you may just have to extend your landing gear a tad or either get some larger wheels to get the 20 inch prop to clear
May, thats a SWEET looking engine!! What is it, a Seidel? Ive got a 1/6 scale hellcat in the works that it would be great on, oh buddy oh pal.... "
The engine is the Evolution 777 which is the direct decendant of the Seidel engine. It is a seven cylinder four cycle displacing 77cc and produces about 4.8hp. It swings a 22-24 inch prop at about 6,000 rpm. The engine is actually made by UMS in India for Evolution and is made like a fine watch. It does require a LOOOOOONNNNGGGGGGG break in. I have about 4 hours of run time on it and it is finally loose enough to hand start! You really have to hear this engine run to really appreciate it. WOW! It sounds wonderful.
As soon as they become available, I'm planning on putting it on the new Extreme Flight Yak 54. At 88 inches and 16-17 pounds it should not only sound good but perform well too. I thouigh about a warbird but it would look funny on the front of a Mustang......

*****Ok guys. Please send your information so you will be pre-registered for the event. This will save alot of time prior to and before the start of the event. If you think you are coming send your info, if you don't make it we can delete you from the Matrix. You do not have to prepay, you will do that the morning of the event. We just need names and a head count so we can plan and make sure everyone has a great time. Send your info to me at:
[email protected]
Thanks

What if you are calling for a fellow competitor? Is there any consideration?

one of the ways we did it was to draw all the names out of a hat to fill the Matrix, it was the only way to be fair to everyone,, "Luck of the Draw"

RE-PRE-REGISTRATION
NAME: -ROBERT PETRINEC
ADDRESS: -208 BUCK BEND, GEORGETOWN,TEXAS 78628
E-MAIL ADDRESS:[email protected]
ANA #:-3532
RADIO FREQ. -CHANNEL 34
This is the second time I have pre-registered. I don’t mind doing it twice, or even three or four times as long as I am included in the matrix. Gary Fisher is also coming but he will also re-pre-register so you are sure to have him in the matrix.
I agree with the other post that a running list of those intending to attend should be posted on this thread. That way we won’t feel the need to re-pre-register. And more importantly; it will give the club workers (the important people) an idea of how many hamburgers to have ready.
