Flexible sheathed control cable for servo?
I am working on a project and it would be really handy if they made a servo cable in a sheath that was somewhat flexible.
I looked at a couple of supply sights but I don't know exactly what to call it in my search and found nothing.

are you talking about the control cable that goes from the servo arm to the control surface?
I've used nyrod in the past. you will find them here:
Gold-N-Rods

TNX, I have seen that stuff before, just could not remember what it was called.
Our local hobby shop closed so I cannot look there anymore.
I ordered some for the project and for stock in my supplies too as long as I had to send for them.

There is also the Sullivan Push Cable. These are twisted cables running through a plastic sleeve and give better flexibility than Nyrods. I've used them on smaller planes like the Royal Mini Corsair where running a control rod from the fuse to the ailerons was a challenge.

I would imagine that the ends of this stuff needs to be supported as it's flexible?
I looked for installation instructions and found none. Perhaps the stuff comes with instructions?
This is what I ordered: Gold-N-Rod Flex,2mm,Nylon,36" SUL573

Absolutely! Support it at the ends and as many places in-between as possible.
Be advised that although Gold-N-Rod is a big improvement over earlier nylon coaxial pushrods, it is still subject to slight length changes with temperature. This may result in corresponding trim changes.
A better solution for flight controls is to toss the outer sheath and use just the yellow part as a guide for a 1/16" solid music wire.

My Eflight Bonanza 15E came with that metal braided cable for the retractable nose wheel steering . Can't say I notice any difference between that and a regular plastic cable since it spends as little time rolling along the ground as possible , but I can well imagine if something WAS gonna break it sure wouldn't be that soldered metal cable
