Red, Not all transmitters can use those freq tags. I personally hate those little tags, they are always falling off, and in my case I use a synth transmitter, and I would need a box full of those little things, and be changing them every flight. Just check the frequency board. Thats what its there for.
Been there, done that. The guy flying has his pin on 25. I was flying on 52 and had my pin on 52. It turned out his transmitter was also on 52. A simple transposition numbers and my plane could have been history had I not caught it in time, or he had turned on AFTER I was in the air. Oops, sorry about that, just doesn't cut it sometimes.

Not that I can controlwhat others do but this is exactly why everyplane I have is onthe same frequency and one computer radio. I don't see the point in 10 different tx's and frequency's

Problem with that is, when all your planes are on 36, and so are four other guys at the field, you're kind of at a stalemate when it comes to who is going to fly. [&o]

R/c pilot friends that complain about the wind. Sure its fun to fly in less wind but flying in wind can create challenges and senarios you cant do without wind.

I guess whiner's in general. Just have fun flying, heck you could be at work instead.

If you don't like to fly in the wind then you sure don't fly much in Texas.

What's the use?? Rather than focus on the negative or irritating (like this post), why not do a thread on what is good about our hobby? Okay, for all you negative guys out there, I acknowledge that I don't have to read or take part in this thread. But I still think *****in' is a waste of heartbeats & air. We had a guy like that in our club. He was negative about EVERYTHING. Glad he is no longer with us. He even tried to get smoking in the pits (it's outside!) banned. Of course it finally happened 4 years later and now we have a not smoking policy in the pits.
There, now I joined you guys. That's my pet peeve.

Guys like this only learn the hard way. Its like someone smoking while at a gas pump. or DWI prevention. lawmakers are not going to really take care of it until a close family member gets killed. Only then do they get on the stick. Or the guy hanging from the prop over and over and over again right on the runway and in everyones face. Just nail his ***** and claim "oops! I mean , isn't that what trainers are for?

When a coupl e of big ones get tangled up, it is impressive and upsetting but nothing P__ses off a person more than a cheap POS bringing down a 40% plane.

Or let him get torn across the kindney with an 18" carbon prop while spotting for a friend. Safety will get important real quick in his mind.

People who refer to assembling an ARF as, "Building".

People who claim to not have enough time to Build.

People who have Pet peeves at people who have Pet Peeves.

Bill, AMA 4720
WACO Brotherhood #1
People like Bill who walk around with their nose in the air thinking they're god's gift to rc modeling.

People like Bill who constantly slam ARF's, the guys that "BUILD" them.

People like Bill who play the martyr when the ARF guy come out defend their niche in the hobby.

People like Bill who are completley clueless as to how mean spirited his hateful, spiteful posts towards arf's are.

Well, I hate to say it but you can't get personal here and you did. You need to edit all that and maybe replace it all with "them, they, people etc or they will close this thread.

Just curious, I take perfectly good Arfs right out of the box, strip them down and rebuild. Not a Kit and not an Arf anymore. Guess its a Karf?

Ive seen quite a few Arfs in my day show up in Kit form

I forgot one. People who ask a detailed question on RCU and totally blow you off after you spend 20 minutes of your life giving them a detailed answer.
