Need a SMALL enclosed trailer
I need to find a manufacturer of small enclosed trailers. One suitable to pull behind a Corolla, with enough room for IMPORTANT stuff like RC airplanes. I see several posts for what I would call LARGE trailers on RC universe but nothing in the compact car category.
Does anyone out there know of a website or manufacturer that makes a small enclosed trailer which would be useable for the "downsized" RC enthusiast?

I built mine. Tow vehicle is a 2005 honda civic. Dont know for sure but I think I still get at least 30 mpg when towing. Gets 36 mpg when not towing. I've never towed for a full tank so I'm only speculating. Its been real handy. Cost was about $600 complete. Build thread here -

Now I can find my civic easy in the parking lots, its the only one with a trailer hitch. <g>

RE: Need a SMALL enclosed trailer
Thanks for all the replies.
I suppose I need to start thinking about building a trailer.... Looks like that is the consensus.

RE: Need a SMALL enclosed trailer
I was going to do the popup camper option. When I wasnt looking it seemed like they were all over the place. When I wanted one, they dryed up. I've seen a few for $600 or so but that isnt cost effective. At $100 or less, they can be gutted and make a good light weight option. Another type of trailer to consider would be a snowmobil trailer. Got some inlaws in Mich. and got a good look at them. They are pretty light weight with an aluminum shell. My HF has held up pretty good so far. But a rough road can be pretty hard on your planes. Had the wing saddle break on a H9 P-40. Repaired it and added 1/8" ply to both sides so it wont happen again. Good luck.
