Hey royf, your controlline Shuttle was absolutely awesome I would have loved to see it fly.

Well the Ringmaster fly day went pretty well for us here in Kingman and we added our little contribution with nine flights on 10/1.

I am proud that of those nine flights that four of them were double handled with new folks and that is a success in our little corner of the world.

I watched Dee Rice Make 74(?) flights, one for each year as it was his birthday. I may be wrong on the number and I might be making Dee a bit older than he is(apologies) but it was really cool. I even drug out a RM and made a flight myself. Hope the numbers are high!!

Peace!!

Congratulartions to Mr Rice quite an achevement.

And congratulations to fellow RM fans out there also a hallmark achevement to get those kind of numbers from all over the world.

I must admit I never thought that this would ever come as close to that mark as it did. This is truly a remarkable medium we are all using now.

I am very pleased to have contributed in a small way[8D]

Well now, Richard Grogan, official tabulator and coordinator, found a report or two that was/were overlooked!! So now the final count For the 2011 Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon is 1425!!!
That is just 75 short of the goal I set (which I thought, at the time, was totally unrealistic) of 1500!!

Wow the Ringmaster owner/lovers really came through!!!

Thanks a million you are the greatest!!

Been awhile since I've logged on...but have been busy building all kinds of CL planes and now have a sizeable Air Force of Ringmasters, Noblers, Zilch's, Twisters, etc, etc, etc....Won two S-1's on ebay recently...can hardly wait to get started on those babies.... Will be heading to the Rice Memorial Fly-In this weekend at the Old Kingsbury Airdrome, near Seguin, Texas...Gonna be a auspicious group of CL guys present and we plan to tear up some blue Texas sky, flying CL...Praying that the forecast rain stays away... Hope to see some of you guys at that great event... Currently trying to figure out how to upload a pic or two of my CL birds ...Also waiting on confirmation of RE-registration...Hurry Up & Wait......that 's what they told me in the ARMY..

Jim,

I sent a copy of your post to the Brotherhood of the Ring Administrators and hopefully you will be signed up forthwith.

This year's Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon is Oct 6th and 7th and we hope that you will put up a few flights for us with one or more of your RMs.

I will upload a file for the informational flyer that gives all the details for you and others to see (download). Also I have included a file for a set of full sized plans for a Ringmaster S-1 (the original 1950 Ringmaster) that can be printed out at a copy shop or office supply store. Print the plans at 100% to get a full sized version.

Have a ball this weekend!!

I don't seem to be smart enough to sign up.
OK, I seem to have blundered through using my old RCU signup info.

Brotherhood of the ring? There is going to be a world wide Ringmaster fly Oh thon on October 5th and 6th rain day 12th and 13th 2024 five rounds in the circle, to qualify. And version old and new of the Ringmaster. The last one in 2023 had over 8,000 hits. They want to break 10.000 this year. I am having a problem with the web site. It keeps hitting Spam! And It’s apparently not secure. I attempted to join Stunt Hanger they wanted my Credit card info and stated I would not be charged, well I was twice, stopped it. But my membership was cancelled. Really sounds like fun and I would like to participate. I am finishing up a Super Ringmaster build, still have to cover the wings. But my S-1 Ringmaster is ready to go. AJ

If anyone is in the Seguin Texas area where is the U control flying site. I understand it’s been pretty active in the last few years. And participated in the Brotherhood of the ring, Ringmaster Flyothon, is that true? It’s about three hours from my home, be a nice trip for a couple days. AJ

Well I guess the Brotherhood is no more. Even tho They announced this 2024 Ringmaster flyOh Thon , they are out of Arizona but it keeps kicking me out of the web site. Saying it’s not secure. Not really very good at this internet stuff. Kinda confusing. Got the same results at Stunt Hanger, but I think my applcation got hacked. They charged on my credit card but I was able to stop it. Why do they want a credit card info.? AJ

I was looking at the Brotherhoodofthering and their are several posted under that name. Mostly about Boxing, Real-estate, clothing, all kinda of Sports memorbila. I was thinking many be a name modification would be in order. Maybe TheBrotherhoodoftheringmaster. Would be more appropriate. Just a thought!AJ
