Throttled versus CL Engines

Hi Fred good to hear from you and welcome to RCU. It was you who wrote an article so many years ago in one of the model magazines on the avalible over the wire systems and inspired me to search out Bill Young and purchase one of his systems, I was in wheelchair heaven with that setup
Of course that was long before 2.4 and "my" circle is at our RC field. But like you after the advent of 2.4 I was able to enjoy even more effortless flying and certainly agree with you. Using 2.4 in conjunction with controlline is wonderful even for those of you who can stand up and fly

John,
I remember you and glad to hear you are still flying. We have a club member that flies with a office chair in the middle of the circle, he lifts his feet and as the model flies it spins him around. Are you an AMA member the June 2015 issue had a bunch of CL articles, I had a feature article in there about the modern CL scale model.
