Default Unusual Cox 049 Canard!

You just don't see many of canard planes in control line flying. Yes there have been some but by and large not many.
I found it on youtube by accident and don't know any more than the videos show. There are two videos, first is possibly a maiden flight as it has no color added to the plane.

The other video is a little longer and the plane is now blue.

What I think is so unusual about this plane is the far forward mounting of the engine. I wonder where the CG is? I also wonder if the model would benifit from moving the CG back some.

A third video shows an unknown Stunt plane that sounds like it has a Cox engine in it. Flies great but don't know anything about it.

Gotta throw one more in. A B-17 (Could be a Guillow's kit?" with 4 Sure Start engines. for C/L!

Love the B-17. Too bad it doesn't seem to be able to do anything but laps! And a heck of a lot of them!

Too bad most of the R\C scale ships only do laps! They are just bigger.

Yes it is too bad but that is all I would expect from a scale bomber of this size in a control line set up. Still, all four engines going at once is quite impressive don't you think?

Now, how about that canard? It too only does laps but I think it could do better by having a more rearward CG. I can only guess how much the front canard is supporting the load in this particular plane. I think the CG should be right at the LE of the main or rear wing but something tells me that this plane does not balance there as the engine sits well ahead of that LE.
Thoughts?
Any ides of the span of this plane or its overall length?

Maybe someone can post a picture of Paul Walker's B-17, four OS 15 engines, with which he placed 9th in the World Control Line Precision Aerobatics Championship a few years ago.
