my LONG winter project!!
Here she is, an old Zimpro ARC .60-sized CAP 21. My first attempt at fiberglass and paint. The finish came out o.k. for my first glass job, but I sure learned alot for my next one. (sand, sand, sand, sand some more, sand, sand, have a sanding party, sand, sand, and when you think you are done sanding, sand some more!!!) Actually, it wasn't all that bad, but my next one will come out perfect!!! Power (as you can see) is a Saito .91 w/ Slimline pitts muff. All-up ready to fly weight should be 7 - 8 lbs. I haven't weighed her since the paint went on. And, Yes, I will be painting some red and blue trim on her. Close to the Pena/Muller sceme, but not exactly, as the plane is not exact scale either and I don't want to hand paint stars and flags and such. I can hardly wait for the flight testing!!! I will post the results of that later!!!

astrohog it's a fine looking model. I am wondering why you posted this in the crash section? I wish you well on the first flight. Do you have a picture of the paint scheme?

This forum is for pictures as well as crash stuff. http://perso.wanadoo.fr/alain.guichaoua/cap_21.htm here is a full-size (not necessarily the scheme I will do). http://www.moki.co.uk/cap21.htm here is the scheme I will closely replicate.

Could be just me, but I believe that this section is for crash pictures and discussion, not for crash discussion and pictures.
Note the name: Crash Pictures & Discussion
As opposed to Crash<es>, Pictures & Discussion
Maybe you have cursed yourself!!! Set your own fate!!
