something about tightening screws...
A few days ago one guy at our field was flying his fun fly (it think it was TT).
well he gave the remote to his more experienced friend and the friend started looping it like mad and it really did it fine.
Then he did a roll while diving, then suddenly we saw something flying away from the wing and then the pilot had no radio.
the thing crashed and was totalled, engine cracked, no battery found.
What happened was that the battery in this plane is located in the wing and there is a hatch that closes with some screws, the owner of the plane didnt close the hatch as necessary and the battery just flew out of the wing and that was the reason for having no radio control...
so tighten those screws...

lessons I learned this weekend.
a: stay away from trees (my trainer)
b: no really, stay away from trees (another guy's trainer)
c: $1.99 rubber band from the conveinance store are not good enough to hold the wing on (yet another guy's trainer)
d: landing in a puddle... sucks (venture 60)
the venture just sheared the gear off and got a little wet...
the one trainer (b:.) is ... well still up there.
mine and the other guts are gone.. but I think the other guy is going to rebuild or order another fuse (arf).
